We woke up this morning around 8:00 to try and make it to Sunday School by 9:00. Rob was scheduled to drop the rental car off at 10:00 (so we thought). Rob dropped us off (a few minutes late) at the building where we thought the Sunday School/Awana programs were located. As it turns out, they were not located in that particular building. The nice lady there tried to help us to no avail. I finally used their WiFi to look up the telephone number to the Vicenza Hospitality House where we had our Friday night Bible Study. I did get in contact with Bro. Hampton there at the House and he told me where to go. Rob had already left to go clean out the car. The kids and I took off walking to find the Chapel Annex where the Awanas and Sunday School were located. We finally found where we needed to be around 9:45. I was so excited to find one of the nice ladies, Chrissy, that I had met on facebook, there at the Awanas. I also met one of the ladies (whose husband is also an MP), who lives in the building where we should be living. We met another family that also live near the area we should be moving to!
The church service was very different, not bad, but very different from what we are accustomed to. However, the name of Jesus was lifted up and God was glorified. The scheduled recitings and formalities were what bothered me. I am thinking it was similar to a Methodist service, but I am not really sure. We really missed our church family today :( I know we are where God wants us to be though, and I am looking forward to what He has in store for our family. Love you all! <3 Thanks for reading!
