Fisher slept all night and did not get sick at all. Thank God for that! Rob stayed home this morning so I could take my driver's test. I was lucky to pass since I did not study any. That's just how I roll. Ha! I was looking forward to going to help out with the wounded warrior horseback riding today, but that did not get to happen since I had no vehicle. Plus it was better to stay in since Fisher hadnt been "sickness-free" for 24 hours. He seems to be good now, but now i am feeling a little green around the edges. Bleck! I hate this feeling. I'd rather throw up and get it over with. It could've been the food at thhe chow hall tonight. It wasn't very good. We had fried chicken but it was kinda greasy.
Abbi had her dress rehearsal for her Presidents Parade today and she was so happy that she did so well. She came home very concerned for her friend Jessie. This little girl had told Abbi that she was going to "go Gothic". Abbi wanted to witness to her and she got the opportunity today. Jessie told Abbi her family did not believe in God and wanted to know if Abb had any proof that God exists. Abbi told her that without God there would be nothing. The little girl responded by telling Abbi that proof would be seeing God or hearing Him. Abbi told her that she has heard God speak to her and that she talks to Him too. As a Mommy I am so proud of her, but my heart breaks because Abbi is so concerned for the little girl and Jessie has been raised to believe The Big Bang theory. Please pray that God continues to use sweet little Abbi.
They still have not shipped our stuff from Naples. Looks like the van will beat our first shipment! Crazy! We should get it by the time we move in next Thursday.
I am trying to get ready for bed and I can't because of the noise. I am going to have to go beat my oldest son and husband now. Goodnight!
I don't even know what to say just wow. I am so proud of her and I know your heart must be so full of love! How amazing is our God! Jenna and I will pray for Abbie and this wonderful opportunity she has to change a family forever! Just think whether this girl comes to know Jesus now or later she will always remember the sweet words whispered in her ear from God through Abbie!
