It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

My day started out with my husband purchasing our family a car.  Yes, we are the proud owners of a Mitsubishi Space Wagon.  What a name!  It seats 8!  It is a compact station wagon.  I love it!  Rob spent the day cleaning it and getting a few minor things done to it.  I got a few groceries for Bible Study tonight and then went to driver's orientation.  Wow!  You can't drink, eat, talk on your phone, etc. while driving or you get a ticket.  DUI? Don't even think about it!  (Which I am so thankful for.)  They have NO tolerance for DUI.  You lose your license, car, pay 6,000 EUROS in fines..... It's great!  Their legal limit is .05% which is less than the US for experienced European drivers and .00% for new European drivers.  Most of the driving laws here are great, the people on the road just don't follow them.... Their police are sneaky little suckers tho.  They mail you your speeding tickets and such.  They catch you on cameras that are staged as recycle bins or tree trunks.  They even have cameras set up in the rear of people's cars to catch you.  You would never even know you were caught until you got that hefty fine in the mail.  Crazy.  Guess my speeding days are over. My days of posting my Crimson Tide decals are over too.  You can't have any "Americanized" decals or writing visibly posted.  We have to blend.  They say it makes us a "target".  I am thinking "target for what?!!!!!"  They tell us we are safe here......but are we?  hmmmm....
Bible study was GREAT tonight as always.  We were discussing man's answers versus God's answers and what it means to be set apart; letting your light shine.  I am so thankful for the wonderful people God has put in our lives.  This one girl, Brianna, made a chocolate pudding a couple of weeks ago that was topped with SMURF shaped marshmallows!  How great is that?!!  I told her how much I adored the smurfs, and tonight, she brought me my very own bag of smurf shaped marshmallows!  Eeeek!!!  I was thrilled!  They are great!  They are marshmallows, but they taste like cake batter!  yummm!
I am so tired that I could pass out any minute, but the sound of Playstation tells me I will not fall asleep very quickly.  Rob is suppose to go bowling with some of the guys from our Bible Study group, but they are so young, and we are so.....well....not so young.  They want to stay up all night and Rob is second guessing that idea now!  lol!  I just want some quiet time.
