This is the day that the Lord has made and we rejoice because we were able to attend a wonderful church this morning. We attended Vicenza Baptist Church. Everything was great! What was funny was a couple from the church leaves Vicenza and moves to Fort Polk next week! We told them that we knew of a GREAT church family there. :) Fisher sat still and whispered during church!!! We were so proud of him! After church, we drove out to our house to see how far it was from the church, and it was only a few miles! We ate at the PX for lunch (I do not have an oven in our room...which totally stinks!) After we ate, we went into the PX to look around. They were having a 50% off all clearance items that were already marked 75% off. We got about $500 worth of clothes for $117! Rob also got him a bike to ride to work. He starts work tomorrow. I sure hope he doesn't come home with stitches! His dog isn't very nice, and does not like him yet.
We went to the Post Chapel for service tonight and went to dinner with our Bible Study group. I am getting pretty good at ordering in Italian. Hunter even went to the counter and asked the waitress, "toillette?" She was happy to see him trying to learn the language. Of course she took him to the bathroom! :) Abbi also got a chance to practice some of her Italian. She said, "piccolo acqua naturale.", which means, small natural water. The Italians drink a lot of "frizzante" water or "water with gas". It's carbonated water. Rob loves it! The kids and I do NOT love it....at all. It's pretty gross. Taste like coke when you get it out of the fountain and the soda is gone. Nasty! The food was awesome. I ate penette (spicy pasta), Rob ate lasagna, the kids ate spaghetti ragu, and Fisher ate riso (rice with parmesan cheese and butter).
We are excited about *HOPEFULLY* moving into our house this next week. I have a lot to do though and I need a good night's sleep...so nightie!
