The mountains are purtay this mornin!

Yesterday....yesterday was hard.  It started off great!  Fisher was so good until the kids got home from school.  He let me get so much done and I was feeling so accomplished.  We went on a long walk through town and along the river (almost got lost) and then he just decided to be a pistol.  He screamed randomly and thought he had to have every toy to himself.  This is a rough time in his life, but it is more rough for ME and Abbi.
In the middle of all the unpacking, I misplaced my keys.  I got the kids off the bus, begged them to come help me so we could get to the store.  I had completely run out of everything and I knew we'd have to starve if I didn't locate them soon!  :)  Not really starve, but we would have been sharing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with vienna sausages.  Some of us would have starved!  Abbi found my keys ( they were laying right in front of my face, I just couldn't see them because of all the stress I guess.  Sometimes God gives us direction and we can't see it because of all the stress and things in the way. )  The neighbor had told me of a local Italian market inside a lady's home just down the street.  Her daughter's inlaws have a farm in Verona and she sells the produce and a few other things from her home.  It is set up like a market and is very cost efficient.  She doesn't speak any English, but LOVES children.  She was so friendly.  She just went on about the kids and even gave them some Pear nectar juice boxes when we arrived.  She was proud of Abbi for speaking some Italian.  The kids and I split a banana when we got back in the car, and let me just say...if you have a place that you can buy farm fresh fruits and vegetables...DO IT!!!  There is a HUGE difference in the taste; not to mention the quality without all the additives.  It is so worth it.  The Commissary's fruits and veggies are shipped from the states and aren't very fresh by the time they reach us.  :(  We have especially noticed it in the amount of bananas Fisher usually eats and doesn't eat now.  He will be back to normal soon.  :)  haha!
We headed towards the Commissary afterwards, and by the time we got there I had a fever.  I had felt bad all day, but I knew then that I was getting sick.  I did manage to get everything and get dinner made by the time Rob got home, but I had to take a quick shower and lay down.  Rob had kennel care so the kids and I were all on our own after dinner.  :(
Guess all of this moving has drained my energy supply.  That and I am constantly chasing after Fisher before he breaks something or gets into something he shouldn't.  I can feel normalcy coming though!  Maybe it's Jesus!  They raised our threat level here yesterday.  They had a big talk with the kids at school about staying close to their parents and making sure they aren't out alone.  They aren't allowed to take the shuttle between base and Villagio without a parent now (which mine wouldn't have done anyway!  EVER!!!).  They said it's because of the Libya conflict.  It isn't so far from us.  Just pray that God continues to protect us while we are here.  We aren't worried, but there is a lot of turmoil going on in this part of the world.  I know it's everywhere, but it seems that the east suffers more from fighting and terrorism.

Romans 5:20-21
20Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Even when communication seems to be a barrier, I pray we live our lives to show the grace that God has given us through Jesus.  We love you all!
