God is in control!

I made the dumb mistake of telling this Tuesday morning to "bring it on".  Bad idea.  It brought it on alright!  To start things off, Rita busted through the screen on the door.  Then, to make things more interesting for me, Fisher screamed all morning and would not let me sweep my floors which were in desperate need of cleaning.  Finally, we heard from Kia only to find out that the van was indeed fixed, but that we would have to pay for it and Kia Italia would not cover it because the damage was customer inflicted.  The damage was actually "shipping company inflicted".  I was in the middle of asking God why all of this was taking place when I heard Him speak directly to my heart and tell me to be thankful during times of trial because He knows best and I don't know the bigger trials He kept me from going through by giving me something so minor to deal with.  It's hard to describe just exactly how I felt in this moment.  I just remember an overwhelming peace that God really is in control of all our circumstances, big or small, and He is working on our side!  I was so convicted for not trusting God's will in the first place and complaining about something so trivial, but so reassured at the same time of His perfect will being performed in our daily lives even when we don't realize it........
I have to add here that while I am writing all of this, Fisher ripped off his diaper, came over here to me and said, "MaMa".  Then he squatted down, stuck out his pelvis area and started peeing on the floor.  Then he smiled, backed up a few feet, stuck out his pelvis area, and started a new pee pee puddle.  Then he smiled, backed up a few more feet, stuck out his pelvis area again, said "MaMa", and started peeing again.  He made four pee pee puddles in the living room.  NOW, Abbi is screaming because he is making a pee pee pile in her room.  He thinks he is funny, Hunter thinks it is funny, and Rob thinks it is funny.  Abbi and I don't find it amusing at all.  He doesn't want to keep his diaper on now.  He is trying to be like the Europeans and go nude I suppose.
.... After the Lord set me straight on who was in charge, I called Kia Motors America and discovered that because Rob is active duty and on government orders, we could submit a claim to Kia Motors America with a copy of the receipt from Kia Italia for reimbursement of our expenses.  Praise God!  They could not 100% guarantee reimbursement, but told me that having the work done at another Kia dealer greatly increased the probability for reimbursement.  (Reimbursement meaning $208.38.) Again, PRAISE GOD!
Rob put a new diaper on Fisher and he just came back in the living room AGAIN and made 2 more pee pee puddles!!!!!!!  Holy Cow!!!!  I couldn't get on to him though...when I told him not to pee pee on the floor again, he said, "yeh mam".  He is so sweet.  Rob said he was going to duct tape the diaper on, but we put a pair of  Mickey Mouse (Topolino in Italian) underwear on top of his diaper to see if that encourages him to leave it on.  That is 7 pee pee puddles he has made!  He is a water hose!
The morning was not ALL woes...I did get a phone call this morning to tell me that our household goods had arrived and would be delivered on Friday!  :)  It took me a little while to get excited about it because of all the dealings with the van, but I am so thankful that our stuff arrived early.  Just another blessing for our family!  If I hadn't blinded myself with self pity, I would've counted my blessings earlier!  So thankful we can not earn salvation or lose it!
We did get the van picked up; it was so good to drive it again.  I watched Rob drive off in the Space Wagon, and I have to say, although I am thankful for a second vehicle that gets us from point A to point B, that thing is soooo ugly.  Rob sure makes it HOT though! hahahahaha!  It is hilarious to see him sportin the pimp wagon.  He gets on to me for hatin on his ride!  lol!
HEY!  I have gotten two more paragraphs in and Fisher still has his undies and his diaper on and there are no additional pee pee puddles anywhere!  :)
Maybe I should quit while I am ahead!  Goodnight everyone!  Count your blessings, name them one by one!
