I think we are approaching an end to the cardboard box era. However, they are all now piled up on our back porch waiting on the movers to come back and pick them up.
Try unpacking, sorting, disgarding, rearranging, installing, building, cleaning, etc. all with a ....FISHER! Only Fisher could make all of this so interesting. He is most definitely in his terrible two stage. I still love him to pieces, but oh my how that little guy can shake things up real quick.
We are having an Italian service at church next Sunday. The kids first question to the Pastor was, " Will there be an interpreter?" He told them no. Their next question was, "Well then how will we understand what the preacher is saying?" hahaha! I guess we won't. It will be interesting to hear and see. They gave us Italian invitations to distribute to our friends and neighbors. Abbi was so excited to be able to invite the local Italian girls that she has befriended here in our neighborhood. They have been visiting Abbi. She has been teaching them some English. She is so excited about this new adventure!
Poor Hunter has a rash today. :( I am hoping that the hydrocortisone clears it up. I had to give in and rub some on him because he was crying so bad with it hurting. He has a doctor's appointment this week to see about that bump on his tummy. Please pray that all goes well with that.
Abbi has to have another appointment with the ENT to have the tubes removed from her ears. Her right ear is in pretty bad shape. I am not sure what they will end up doing, but she still has severe ear infections in that ear. :(
Rob and I got a chance to meet and "communicate" with our Italian neighbors today. It was great! They are so friendly. They could not believe we had three kids and were so "young". hahaha! He wanted to know how old Rob was when Abbi was born. lol! Imagine the look on the guys face when we told him Rob was 16 at that time! Their English was very broken and we had to use broad expressions and similarities to understand each other. So we didn't dare try to explain the circumstances that brought us all together. It was such a blessing just to be able to communicate a little with them! They told us they would be having "big party" in a couple weeks and told us "you come". We were excited to get an invitation. So many of the Americans here feel like they are unwelcome here, but I don't think they are trying to be neighborly or kind. They see us as different and are just as scared as we are to "break the ice". It was a big encouragement for me today to get to talk with them.
The kids are getting spring pictures taken this week. Fisher gets his tomorrow; that poor photographer. Hope it's a man! If not, we are in trouble! Although, he has taken a liking to the Italian women; some more than others, but still.....
I know I am leaving out so much that I want to tell, but it will come to me eventually. My body and brain need rest from all of the work they have been doing! hahaha! Let me go ahead and get started on that! Goodnight everyone!
