Dum du dum dum dum......

So I am really sad that Anna has to go back home.  We put our heads together for a while and tried to find a way for her to be able to stay, but apparently you can't just move here for an extended period of time if you want.  You have to get permission from the Italian government.  Maybe if they were more like our government and just let ANYONE move in, she could just stay.  Seems our government is on the brink of shutdown eh?!  I really don't understand why they don't see all the red flags?!  Are our politicians really that greedy that they have become to blind to everything around them?!  I personally wish government was run they way it used to be.... Small towns with a sheriff in cowboy hat carrying a six shooter on each hip!  We could all ride in horses and buggies.  :)  However, it would be a loooong swim back across the Atlantic to visit family :(   Maybe that's not such a good idea after all.
Yesterday, we didn't do a whole lot.  We went and saw the mountains.  It was a very clear morning so they were beautiful.  I have a video to upload later.  It only took me an hour to get the video.  Anna kept adding her dialogue in there, along with a scary rendition of  "Go Rest High On That Mountain".  I probably could've sent it in to America's Funniest "Abroad" Videos if there was such, and became a very wealthy military wife!  :)
Abbi came in yesterday and told me that she had been playing outside with the kids that live in our building when she started to talk to a little boy her age that lives here.  He is in her grade, a nice little boy, and always seems a little quiet.  He plays very well with both Abbi and Hunter.  Anyway, Abbi said she was outside talking to him about Jesus and told him about salvation and it started to rain a little.  She said he stood there in the rain and listened to her, told her he wanted to be saved, and bowed his head and prayed and asked the Lord to save him!  I know a lot of people think children don't know enough to comprehend or lead someone to the Lord, but I think it's just opposite...I think we as adults think we know so much that we let ourselves get in the way of sharing the Gospel the way Jesus did.  I am so thankful that the Bible says, "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."  It is so sweet, pure, and perfect in the eyes of God when a little child puts honest, unadulterated faith and trust in Jesus.  Sure my heart swells with pride for my children, but I can not explain the joy that is so much bigger than the pride.  How blessed I am to have such wonderful children.  I pray they all three grow to love the Lord with all their hearts and serve him in sincerity and truth!  Whether or not the little boy understood or not, one thing is for sure, when you present to someone the blood of Jesus as payment for our sins, the Gospel is presented and God speaks, and a child (or anyone for that matter) takes a step to put faith in the blood of Jesus, I know that God will complete the work of salvation in them.  Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ."  My heart is so blessed at the works of God!  And I am so blessed to have been given such a great salvation!  Please pray for the little boy, Mason, and please pray that Abbi will continue to share the Gospel with those around her.
It is time for me to wake the sleeping beauties now.  Rob had kennel care, so Anna got to sleep in my big comfy bed with Fisher and I.  She won't wake up on the wrong side of the sleeper sofa this morning.  Hopefully that comfy bed did her some good!  lol!  I kidded with her the past few days and told her she was waking up on the wrong side of the sleeper sofa and needed to get back in and try crawling over the back.  haha!  It is hard to wake up on the wrong side of my bed though.  It is awesome!  Everyone should take a trip to the mattress store and try out a new mattress.  Your back will thank you!  Investing in your bones when they start to get older is a great investment! hahahaha! I am so glad we did!  :)  Have a great day!
