Some blogs weren’t posted for one reason or another, but I am publishing them to save them. This one was written in 2011...
Maybe, just maybe, my husband will be finished with his cert on Wednesday now! :) I got a call from him with the news that he is doing great! His dog did good yesterday with everything and he was pretty glad. He did say he was having trouble sleeping. :( I am also having trouble sleeping, but it is because I have 6 other little legs in the bed with me! I am so thankful for these moments though. I do wake up a lot more than usual, but I figure that's normal.
We had quite the busy afternoon in spite of my headache. I had to apologize to the neighbor children for asking them to go home. I was not able to handle all the noise in my house. We missed ball practice. I wasn't able to go to Isabella's house; I just did not feel well. I did manage to get it together long enough to take the kids around the block on their scooters. I know they are missing Rob and that is something he does with us, and they were wanting to go. I didn't want to be a spoil sport, but I do miss him so much. I am glad he isn't scheduled for any deployments any time soon. The whole being by myself in foreign country doesn't seem to scare me like I thought it would. Maybe it's because the Lord put the verse in my devotion yesterday about not fearing man who can only destroy your body, but fear the Lord who can destroy body and soul. I may need to read that every night before we go to sleep. The night time always brings the noises. :) Rob said he would be more comfortable if I put Rita in the house while he was gone. I had to inform him that I am more comfortable with those nasty, stinky, shedding dogs OUTSIDE! :) *Said with love.
I am trying to download some home videos and new photos. I will try to remember to post the links to them so everyone can see. Summer time is getting kicked off around here. That means the locals are starting to shed some of their layers. Please pray that they keep some on. I know we can't shield our families from everything, but I want to try to keep them from what I can.
I have a job. Yes, I have a job. I will be babysitting the neighbor girl. She is Fisher's age. They are about a week apart. Her birthday is Saturday and Fisher's is in less than two weeks. I am not sure how it is going turn out, but it will just have to work out somehow. I am homeschooling my older two again starting August, but I will not have Bella for the months of July and August. She will be staying with her aunt that will be visiting. I figure that will give me time to get the kids going, and then we can just go from there. I intend on having some coloring sheets and little things for the little ones to do. Plus, we plan to do a lot of trips to local historical sights to do the kids' work. We want to make it interesting. They will go to the chapel on Tuesdays to do school with all the other homeschool children. I am excited to see how it will all work out. Please pray that I haven't lost my mind! Or that I won't lose it rather! :)
I am off to get some things done today. Make sure everyone checks out the pics and the videos!
