Part A or Part B....the choice is yours

"Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor theives, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.... (HERE IS MY PART...)  AND SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU: BUT YE ARE WASHED, BUT YE ARE SANCTIFIED, BUT YE ARE JUSTIFIED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, AND BY THE SPIRIT OF OUR GOD." 1 Cor. 6:9-11   WOOOOHOOOO!
The first part of this verse is not saying that if you have ever committed one of these sins you can not repent, trust Christ for salvation, and change.  This is talking about lifestyle.  If you are saved, what are you saved from?  Do you still live the lifestyles described in the first part of this verse?  If so, you need to question your salvation.  Were you sorry for and did you accept Jesus' blood as payment for your sin, and did you turn from your sin (repent) and allow God to change your life.  Are you a changed person or are you still living a worldly lifestyle?  Do you feel remorse for your sin that put Jesus on the cross, or do you feel like your sin is meaningless and just part of being human?
I, myself, have made many of the mistakes described in the first part of this verse.  The first part of this verse is pretty scary until you read the second part.... " AND SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU: BUT YE ARE WASHED, BUT YE ARE SANCTIFIED, BUT YE ARE JUSTIFIED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, AND BY THE SPIRIT OF OUR GOD."  The question is are you stuck in the first part, or are you a part of the second portion of this verse?  If you were a lost sinner living these wicked lifestyles, but you washed your heart, life, and soul clean with the blood of Jesus, then you have no reason to fear the judgement of God.  BUT, if you are saved by God's grace through Jesus, then you can rejoice that your heart has been washed (gone from dirty to clean), you have been sanctified (made holy), and justified (your sin has been absolved, you are acquitted of your crimes, you have been made guiltless, you are blameless in the sight of God).  You have been made free from the bondage of sin! 
Now, which part of the verse applies to your life?
